The transition to a low carbon economy means that homes will transform in the coming years.
Our environment pledge
HomeServe will help homeowners find the solutions they need to be part of this change.
We are developing products and services to help homes move to net zero, including solutions for renewable energy, energy efficiency, and electric vehicles.
We will play our part by making our own business greener too:
- reducing the impact of our operations and supply chain
- all offices to be procuring renewable electricity by 2030
- implementing energy efficiency measures in our facilities
- transitioning our fleet to electric vehicles
To make our house greener we have set Scope 1&2 and Scope 3 GHG emission reduction targets. We are targeting a carbon reduction pathway of 1.5-degrees for our Scope 1&2 emissions and a 2-degrees pathway for our Scope 3 emissions by 2030, with a base year of FY22.
Reporting our performance
We have reported on all of the emissions sources required under The Companies Act 2006 (Strategic Report and Directors’ Report) Regulations 2013 and the Companies (Directors’ Report) and Limited Liability Partnerships (Energy and Carbon Report) Regulations 2018 – commonly referred to as Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR).
